The golf industry has been going through the five stages of grief over the loss of rounds and revenue since the early-2000s. The golf industry will never be as it was pre-millennium. The “old” way of operating a golf course is exactly that…the old way. Golf courses must accept and embrace the new paradign for doing business post-millennium.
Just because you change the presentation does not mean you have to change the industry. Re-packaging the product is just that…re-packaging. The revenue is the same and/or better than it ever was. The only aspect that changes is you are now serving more golfers.
